The John Katan Volunteer Award
The John Katan Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Halton Outdoor Club
John Katan was an active, long-time member of the Halton Outdoor Club who was an avid cross-country skier and hiker. John died unexpectedly on a Club trip in 1992; this award was created in 1993 in his memory.
The John Katan Award is presented annually to an individual or individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the Club.Congratulations to:
