Halton Outdoor Club Refund Policy

Effective Date: March 1, 2024

1. Overview

The Halton Outdoor Club is a not-for-profit organization that provides recreational opportunities in outdoor activities throughout the year. As a primarily volunteer-run organization, we are committed to ensuring a positive experience for all our members and participants.

2. Refund Policies for Events

Refund policies for each specific event organized by the Halton Outdoor Club are outlined in detail on the online event information sheet available to users during the event registration process. It is essential for participants to review and understand the refund policy associated with each event before completing the registration process.

3. Payment Processing Partner

AffiniPay is the Wild Apricot by Personify trusted payment processing partner utilized by the Halton Outdoor Club for handling membership and event fees. All financial transactions are securely processed through AffiniPay.

4. Refund Processing Time

Refunds for eligible cases will be issued through AffiniPay and can take up to 10 days to be processed.   Please note that the actual refund processing time may vary based on the financial institution.

6. Exceptions

The Halton Outdoor Club reserves the right to modify, update, or make changes to the refund policy. Any changes will be communicated to members and participants through the club's official communication channels.

By participating in Halton Outdoor Club events, members and participants acknowledge and agree to abide by the specific refund policies associated with each event and the overarching policies outlined in this Refund Policy document.
