Food Options for Paddling trips

Here are some food options as suggested by our club members who have made these meals while on trips with no refrigeration or coolers with ice.  Pick what suites your budget,  your taste preferences and your available time.

A La Carte Meals - Food items which can keep for up to a week

  • Eggs will keep for a week in the back country
  • Pepperoni Sticks
  • Nuts and peanuts
  • Salami/Summer Sausage - It has to be labeled, "Does not require refrigeration" - Sobeys, Fortinos
  • Hard cheeses like Gruyere
