GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Point of interests

A personal favourite, Main Loop is a journey through mature deciduous forest, hemlock groves, stream valleys, an old apple orchard and open meadow.  Points of interest include the Trail Centre, Hermitage Ruins, Sulphur Spring and Hermitage Cascade.  Canterbury Falls is a narrow terraced ribbon cascade with a small wooden bridge at the top. Quite a bit of tree canopy for a warm summer day.

A washroom is usually open at the Trail Centre, about 200 feet in from the beginning and end of our hike.
