Saturday May 23. Enjoy Niagara Hikes

Time : 9:30 am.

Location : Jordan and Balls Falls

Pace : brisk, 4-5 km per hour

Distance : 3 hours +/-

Terrain : moderate plus some hills and stairs to climb

Meeting Place : In the parking lot on Twenty First Street immediately after the one lane bridge. Exit the QEW at Victoria Avenue in Vineland. Turn left onto the South Service Road. It curves around and becomes Twenty First Street. Stay on Twenty First Street as it winds around through some pretty agricultural land. You will come to a one lane bridge. Jordan Valley Campground will be directly in front of you. Follow Twenty First Street as it turns left to cross the bridge. Just after the bridge, turn right into the parking lot where we are meeting.

Description : We will hike, there and back, through the Jordan Valley up to Balls Falls and on to the upper falls. Hopefully lots of water will be flowing over the falls.  Bring water and snacks. Wear hiking boots. Dress for the weather considering sun exposure and remembering that there could be bugs and ticks in the woods. A lunch stop at the Jordan House will be an option following the hike.
