Time : 10:00 am.

Location : Elizabeth Street Pumphouse, Grimsby

Pace : brisk, 4-5 km per hour

Distance : approximately 2 hours

Terrain : flat, easy

Meeting Place : In the parking lot adjacent to the Elizabeth Street Pumphouse and the Grimsby 1812 Bicentennial Peace Park at the north end of Elizabeth Street in Grimsby. Exit the QEW at Christie Street. Turn left onto Christie Street, crossing the highway on the overpass. Turn right on Olive Street. Follow Olive to Elizabeth Street.  Turn left on Elizabeth and follow it all the way down to the lake. It will bring you right down into the parking lot where we are meeting. 

Description : Forty Mile Creek trail and town streets.  Walking shoes are fine, no sandals.  Dress for the weather.  Walk is cancelled if heavy rain is occurring.
