HIKE GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Point of interests
This hike features a large dam, Darnley Falls, mill ruins, and a loop around a forested lake and beach. Hiking the wooded shoreline gives the hiker a feeling of being in the north. Beautiful any time. This location is historically significant to the development of the Dundas area and Hamilton.
The ET&T Revisited series offers hikes that follow local trails that a group of hikers compiled into a guide book titled “Escarpment Trails and Treks: Two-Hour Hikes in Halton, Hamilton and Niagara”. These hikes are ideal for getting to know local trails in only 2-3 hours and all in close proximity to your home in Halton, Hamilton and Niagara Region, Southern Ontario.
