DESCRIPTION Paved, flat trail boasts over 18km along the shores of Georgian Bay showcasing glorious vistas of the Bay, the Why, Hogg and Sturgeon Rivers.  This is a road bike-friendly trail.

MEETING PLACE

& TIME

Meet at 9:15 for a 9:30 start in Waubashene.

Directions: Take Hwy#400 north (about 2 hours) and turn at Hwy#12 WEST (not east). Also called Simcoe Rd. 16 to Waubashene. Turn right under the bridge. Turn right at Pine St. Turn right at Coldwater. Less than 1 km to the small parking lot on the left side of street right by the Trans Canada Trail. There is also street parking by the lot.

Yes.  It's important. Leaders appreciate early registration but you can register at the last minute.

Trip leaders will be able to email you with updates and last minute changes.

Will stop on the way back at Victoria Harbour (approx. 25km into the trip). Beautiful beach, Foodland and the washrooms were open on our scouting trip July 15th.

Covid 19 precautions: Trip leaders will go over all precautions at the start of the trip.

Excursions after the cycling trip: If these facilities are open on a Sunday and approved by the Health dept. of the region; Wye Marsh, Victoria Beach and Sainte Marie Among the Hurons and the Martyr's Shrine.

This will be a wonderful ride with plenty of scenery and a nice stop at Victoria Harbour.

REMINDERS

Cycling attire, including helmet. Water Bottle. Snacks. Suntan lotion. Bug Spray. Identification, Cell Phone, tire repair kit including spare tube.
