Paddling Lake Superior
August 8-14, 2021
Come join us for a 6 day, 5 night paddle along the spectacular shore line of Lake Superior. This inspiring trip traces the shores from Cape Gargantua to Michipicoten along the coast of Lake Superior Provincial Park. Explore hidden coves and beaches, traverse the magnificent cliffs along Old Woman Bay and discover the pictographs and vision pits of the Ojibwa. One of our most awe-inspiring trips, the agenda and trip schedule is highly dependent on sea conditions. There is a high likelihood that we will encounter at least 1 wind day and possibly more. As with all our trips participants must be prepared to adapt to conditions and group dynamics. Rugged cliff lines are frequently punctuated by gorgeous sand beaches and waterfalls. The coast line is prone to wind and waves and travel on this Lake is always by permission of Mother Nature. Expect some wind days, challenging conditions and natural wonders.
