Paddle Canada Level TWO Certification

Open to all Halton Outdoor Members who would like to be certified for Paddle Canada Level Two. This is an exclusive offer to HOC group rate based.
6 paddlers max for this course. A wait list will be started if need be.

Course is instructed by Horizons Adventures 

Date: July 6- July 10, 2020

Location: North Channel (Whales Back)

• Course: Monday (pre-meeting), off water Friday
• Accommodations: Must provide own tent, prefer sharing based on space
• Boat & Gear: Must provide boat, paddle , safety gear, water temp clothing 
• Food: Must be willing to bring food to group meal plan , prep, sharing kitchen duties
• Navigation: Must be willing to provide topo/marine maps for area
• Prerequisite: Paddle Canada Level One Certification

Paddle Canada Level Two Course includes: 

• Full day and evening sessions
• Navigation and seamanship
• Boat handling and rescue in rough conditions
• Camp set-up & expedition behavior
• Risk management
• Weather & predictability data

COST : $675.00 + hst ($87.75) = $ 762.75 via credit card

SPOTS: 6 paddlers

Registration opens March 6, 2020 

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation up to June 5, 2020.
After June 5, 2020 you are responsible for all costs the club incurs on your behalf.
