Hiking Burlington Waterdown

Time: 9:30 am.

Location: City View Park, Burlington, Bruce Trail

Distance: Approx. 8-10 km. depending on which route is chosen.

Directions: City View Park is located on the east side of Kerns Rd. south of Highway 5 or north of the North Service Rd. Make sure you go into the most southerly entrance, not where the baseball fields are located. Drive to the last parking lot.

Hike Description: This popular hike takes us to Smokey Hollow and Great Falls in Waterdown. Mostly through forest it offers some good views off of the escarpment and takes us through cool forest trails with some rocky sections and at least one good hill or more depending on the route. Bring lunch, water, sunscreen, insect repellent, hand sanitizer and a mask. Refreshment stop afterwards.
