Sunday April 12. UNO MISTERIO: Hike # 1 (Follow me, follow me, into the hollow, and we shall all wallow in glorious mud)
Thought of the Day : Show me the hikeleader who sometimes stops and says: Where the hell am I and where do I go from here? That's the kind of guy I like to follow.
Time : Meet at 10:00 a.m.
General Area: Short Hills Provincial Park (Is a hill just a hill or is it one damn thing after another?)
Pace, Duration and Terrain : 3-4 km per hr. for about 3 hrs. on brown, muddy, and slippery hills.
Meeting Place : The parking lot is at the dead end of Wylie Rd. on the boundary of Short Hills Provincial Park. The leader will send e-mail directions to all members who have registered for the hike.
Description : A loop hike of provincial park ups and downs and twists and turns that could be muddy and possibly slippery. If you are English born, think of the song that starts out “Mud, mud, glorious mud, ...”
Bring : Water, snack, a change of clothing, hiking boots, and money for lunch somewhere afterward.
Leader: Richard Reble at email@example.com or 905-945-0536 any day before 9:00 p.m.
